Tara Reid began her career in the field of commercials as just a child. She earned a name for herself on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. She has performed her roles effortlessly, in spite of the criticism. The role of Bunny in The Big Lebowski, Bunny became her breakthrough part. It was a stepping stone in her career and she began receiving offers from films such as Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. American Pie - a cult film about sexual relationships between teens - was her debut big breakthrough in Hollywood. The role she played as Vicky, the virgin, gave her a beautiful model. However, none of these resulted in a massively profitable Hollywood Career. Reid failed to make it big in Hollywood with movies like Josie and the Pussycats. The actress did have part in American Pie 2 for a couple of minutes, however this didn't help her decline in career. Reid has more fame for her work as a fashion stylist as well as a party-goer than she is an actress. The reason for this is her mistakes on screen, the media's attention to plastic surgeries, and other appearances that were blink-and-miss.
