Also, she performed in a season of stock productions in the summer on stage at the Berkshire Playhouse in Stockbridge, Massachusetts and in shows such as The Pajama Game" and West Side Story. Ann was discovered during a Vogue Magazine fashion show by Gloria Schiff, an editor. Within a few days, the editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland had Ann shoot her first Vogue cover alongside photographer Richard Avedon. Ann then became one of the most sought-after models in America. She was featured on cover models for the top fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar or Cosmopolitan. After two years Ann began to appear on international fashion shows modeling successfully in Europe as well as Japan for the roles of face of big brands in the cosmetic industry like Max Factor Revlon and Chanel.
