Lauren Alaina, a native of Rossville Georgia and raised there, quickly reached the top on American Idol season ten's competitors list. Her fame was due to distinctive looks as well as her dedication to God. Lauren was born and raised in Rossville Georgia. When her cousin developed a brain tumour, Lauren decided to give her singing talents a shot. During her stay at American Idol she quickly became close to contestant Scotty McCreery.
